Dream Big

You’ve heard the saying “when you fail to plan you plan to fail”, so very true. If you don’t have a roadmap for your finances how do you know what direction you are headed? Better yet, if you don’t have a plan for your life, where are you going? You have to ask yourself thoughtful questions.
o Who is going to take care of me? Who is taking care of me?
o How will I make money for myself long-term? How am I making money for myself right now, and is this working?
o What type of work do I want to do? What type of work do I have to do right now until I get to where I want to be?
o What type of lifestyle do I want to live? What lifestyle am I living right now?
o What age do I want to stop working? In order for me to stop working at that age, how much money will I need or do I want to have?
o What do I love doing? Or at least for now, what do I "like" doing?
It all begins with a dream. I truly believe that dreams keep us grounded. It allows us to gauge where we are on our list of achievements, our bucket list, or just normal things that we want to do, or things that we would like to experience in life. Without dreams, how can goals ever be established? How do you know when the course begins and where the end of the course lies? What about challenging yourself to become all that you could ever hope or dream so that you will be able to influence and help the lives of others. How will I give back to those less fortunate?
Ever since I can remember I’ve always had a dream to do something big, be something better, help others in any way that I can. I’ve had multiple dreams and visions circulating through my head just waiting for me to take action. I want to be the best version of myself every single day, but in order for this to be achieved I have to do something positive everyday. I must take steps to bring my dreams to reality.
So if you’re not a dreamer, let me help change your mind by telling you that “you can do anything and everything that you set your mind on”. Nothing is out of your reach. No matter where you come from..rich, poor, middle-class, one parent home, two parent home, foster home, homeless. There is another level for us all to reach besides the one that currently exists. Imagine the imaginable and bring it to life.
This “thing” called “money” is just a tool. A tool that we all need in some ways to survive life. We shouldn’t be afraid of it, and when we get it, we shouldn't hoard it. It’s time to learn and explore as much as we can to figure out how it can be most useful in our own lives. Remember that no matter what road you are on you are affected by money.
Money Tip #1 - Don't compound money mistakes, change your mindset to change your behavior.
