Financial Literacy Workshop Summer Camp 2025 Testimonial L.H. Williams Recreation Center I thoroughly enjoyed having Ms. Natelya Hale with Invest Young Money coming to speak with the nearly 40 kids we had for Summer Camp 2025 here at L.H. Williams Recreation Center. Ms. Hale catered her workshops with age-appropriate activities to get campers of all ages engaged in the money management process. Our campers exercised their critical thinking skills to do everything from counting out change to developing budgets to understanding credit. The campers became so engaged that they were eventually able to ask their own questions about how to manage money in order to better understand the financial world. Having activities like financial literacy to engage in during the summertime is especially important for these kids, as many turn away from practicing their critical thinking while not in school. I highly recommend having Invest Young Money and Ms. Hale visit other camp programs and student organizations to better prepare our kids with the proper financial mindset needed in the modern day. - Paige Riser

As a supervisor with the Parks and Recreation center, I’m thrilled to share the positive impact Invest Young Money had on the kids in our program.
